As such, Entech Electronics employ numerous quality management procedures and standards throughout all processes performed by the organisation across all production facilities. These come together in the form of our Integration Management Systems and quality certifications.

 

Entech Electronics Australia

Located at 37 Belford Avenue, Devon Park SA 5008, Entech Electroncis Australian Production Facility and HQ holdthe following internationally recognised quality managment systems:

  • ISO 9001:2015 – The design, manufacture, test and supply of electronic equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies. Also the design and supply of printed circuit boards and membrane switch assemblies.
  • ISO 13485:2016 – The manufacture, test and supply of electronic equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • AS9100D – The manufacture, test and supply of electronic equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • ISO 14001:2015 – The manufacture, test and supply of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. Also, the supply of printed circuit boards and membrane switch assemblies.

Additional Certifications

IECEX - Intrinsically Safe

Entech Electronics manufactures electronic equipment certified to be used inexplosive atmospheres. These are often referred to as Intrinsically Safeproducts and are certified to the IECEx standard.

Product specific processes and procedures are developed with our clientsand auditing bodies to ensure compliance is systematically met duringmanufacturing.

IPC Standards

The Entech Electronics group  of companies train staff to, and apply the appropriate IPC standards according to type of product and individual customer requirements.

Some of the applicable standards are:

  • IPC-A-600 PCB acceptance standard
  • IPC-A-610 PCA acceptance standard
  • IPC-A-620 acceptance standard
  • IPC-6012 qualification and performance specification for rigid PCBs
  • IPC-2615 PCB dimensions and tolerance testing
  • IPC-TM-650 test methodologies
  • IPC-4101 specifications for base materials for rigid and multilayer PCBs

Underwriters Laboratory

Both of Entech’s manufacturing plants are registered UL plants.
Each plant is audited on multiple occasions each year by UL, to ensure critical practices and material management procedures are operating effectively.

 

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit)

The Entech Group of companies is 100% committed to social responsibility and ethical trade practices across all of our offices and manufacturing plants.

As part of this commitment, we engaged Intertek to undertake a SMETA audit of our Shenzhen Manufacturing Facility. 

The audit included Labour Standards, Health & Safety, Environment and Business Ethics. The SMETA Best Practice Version 6.1 (March 2019) was applied and the scope included direct employees, agency workers, workers employed by service providers and workers provided by other contractors.

We are pleased to have passed the audit successfully and look forward to receiving our official certificate soon.
